“SMALL CHANGE MAKES A GREAT DIFFERENCE”

The society has lots of drug awareness activities “Sometimes you can only find Heaven by slowly backing away from Hell.”to get the affected people out of it. For our part, K S Rangasamy College of Technology conducted the “DAM22” – Drug Awareness Marathon – 2022 under the theme of Azadika Amrit Mahotsav. Marathon was organized at VOC park, Erode on August 1, 2022. It is a step towards creating awareness to the society using drugs consuming it as temporary happiness regardless of their health, family’s happiness and financial status. The marathon started with 964 participants on the ground, before the daylight. The marathon was divided by 3 sets of 10km men and women, 5km men and women and 1.5km for children. The price amount with 3 various categories. In 10km men and women, the first prize was 10,000rs , second prize 7,500rs and third 5,000rs. The second category was 5km men and women for this, the first prize was 5,000rs, second prize 4,000rs and third prize 3,000rs. Following that, the third category is 1.5km children so the first prize was 2,500rs, second 2,000rs and third 1,500rs. The awareness run flag were offer and the prizes were distributed by our principal Dr. K. Gopalakrishnan and the chief guest Mr. S. Muthusamy, the honorable minister for housing and urban development, Tamilnadu.
